Also it is not a standard Les Paul Special wiring situation because I have only one volume and one tone and am using a different swtich than the LP style.Ĭan anyone here provide me with a link to a wiring diagram that suits my situation or explain to me how to wire this up? I will be cutting off the molex connectors in order to fit the lead through the cavity tunnel to the back-route controls area but I need help with understanding which wires go where. The P90s in my Les Paul special have hot and ground. The pickups are a used set of Gibson P90s I got off of Reverb that have molex connectors and I have no idea what the 5 leads correspond to. 1 three way blade switch (vintage strat style) But it has 5 leads: Black, Red, Green, White and thin white) 2 p90 pickups (with molex connector I will be cutting off. I need a wiring diagram for how to wire this up which will be different from my Les Paul Junior and different from my strat. Also I am having them install a wrap around (Faber TPWC) tailpiece and studs that I already sent them. I have the body routed for two soapbar P-90s, one volume knob, one tone knob, and a three-way blade switch (and a jack on the side like an LP, not on top like a strat), no pickguard. The guitar is a 7/8 mahogany strat body with a 24" scale jaguar neck. This switch has 1-5/8' mounting screw spacing, and needs at least 1-3/8' depth in the body cavity.
